Michael Waugh

online public lecture via ZOOM

Saturday, August 29 @ 8 p.m.

Michael Waugh uses the technique of “micrography,” or pictures made up of minute handwriting, to provide added meaning to literary and political texts. Using text from a 1962 environmentalist work, Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring, Michael builds allegorical landscapes depicting domesticated and wild animals struggling to survive.
