a program for monetary stability

The three drawings that make up this series are composed out of text which comprises the entirety of Milton Friedman’s 1959 book, A Program for Monetary Stability, which is a fairly scientific text that pre-dates most of Friedman’s polemical, libertarian writings. Purely economic studies, such as this one, were the basis for Friedman being awarded the Nobel Prize in economics in 1976. The three drawings in this series each present a couple. Each drawing in the series is composed of progressively more text, so that the grounding of the drawings become progressively more dense with text. In each drawing, the couples go progressively further into the woods.
